M N SHARMA PHOTOGRAPHY AWARD 2025

MN Sharma Architectural Society in collaboration with Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi takes immense pleasure in inviting photo entries for the MN Sharma Photography Award 2025. This year the theme for Photography contest is, “Moods of Sukhna".

Chandigarh’s Sukhna Lake is not just a waterbody — it’s a living canvas that changes hues with every hour of the day and every day of the year. At dawn, it blushes with the soft glow of sunrise, by afternoon, its vibrant blue mirrors the liveliness of the city, filled with joggers, boaters, and the laughter of visitors. As dusk falls, the lake takes on a meditative stillness — the silhouettes of Shivalik hills merging with the fiery sky. With each passing season the changing moods of Sukhna tell a different story — of serenity, vitality, and timeless beauty — making it a photographer’s paradise and Chandigarh’s soulful heartbeat.

The best entry will receive MN Sharma Photography Award 2025 with a citation and a Award of Rs. 25000/-!

· Open to the youth of Tricity, aged between 18-30 years.

· You may send a maximum of three photographs in JPG format in 18x24 inches size (colored/black&white) of high resolution in the Google form (https://forms.gle/ACGqbcUtXkJ8Jybf8)

· The artists must send their original works with an undertaking in the prescribed Google form latest by 14TH NOVEMBER, 2025. 

· A self-attested photocopy of Aadhar card or College ID card for the proof of address and age along with the prescribed Performa available in the Google Form (https://forms.gle/ACGqbcUtXkJ8Jybf8)

· Entries will be judged by an eminent jury whose decision will be final.  

· Earlier winners can participate but they will not be entitled to the award.

· Selected photographs will be showcased in an exhibition to be held in end of November 2025. Copyright of selected entries will remain with MN Sharma Architectural Society & Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi.
